Hi! I'm kind of a new member of this neighborhood, and incidentally, I have a question.

Where is the most entertaining/ interesting place to go in our neighborhood?

I haven't spent tons of times exploring the nooks and crannies. Any cool hangouts? Anybody out there?

''Hot'' Spots

There are some art galleries in the PICO N/C area. One of the them is opening with a new show on the 1/25 at 5449 Pico (see our Calendar). There is the Comedy Store next to the Del Mar (Puget Sound) theater between Orange & Sycamore. In the middle of PICO N/C just east of Fairfax (on the north side of Pico) is a coffee house - The Blue Nile. There are many activities at the Jewish Community Center on Olympic just east of San Vicente.
If hanging out includes food, there is: Roscoe's Waffle & Chicken (Pico/Mansfield); Snack & Chat (Pico east of Hauser); Indian food (3 blocks west of Fairfax on Pico); and our Ethiopian ''center'' where 3 different eateries are gathered on Fairfax just south of Olympic.
