Washington School has a couple beautiful soccer fields that are enjoyed by many people each week.

Sometimes there are over 300 people on the fields on a Saturday. Sunday crowds are often almost as large. And because of the nice lighting that was recently installed, the fields are also used on weekday evenings.

Presently, we have a few problems regarding the field ussage (though we love having the grounds properly used and love having available activities for the youth and familes):
1) Portable toilets are often not maintained and occasionally tipped over. (We need a perminant facility, and in the meantime, anchoring of the portibles and maintenance cleaning twice a week).

2) Trash that is not picked up and thrown away properly.

3) Parking on the playground area leaving oil, antifreeze and transmission fluid where children play during the school day. (As well as driving without paying attention to the children at play).

4) Security of the area (often people are drunk on the grounds and drinking in the presence of the children).

5) Other parking issues around the grounds (creating traffic hazards and safety problems for those crossing the street).

What can we do about it? How can we make sure the guests treat the property with respect? Should the school district allow more use of the property or less?
