We brought a shelter chihuahua home on Sat.Nov 1 from Friends for Life Animal Shelter in the Heights. She is very timid. I applied her leash to her collar and took her out of the car. The moment that her feet hit the ground she took off running. I did not have a good grasp of the leash and it is still attached to her collar. I have been searching for her since. She took off down the golf course. Being so timid I figured that she may be hiding in bushes behind the the circular drive on Darkwood. I went in search of her today assuming she would seek water. Sure enough I startled her near a pond on the golf course (Monday, Nov 3rd about 1230)and she took off north on the golf course. The leash is still attached to her. She is tan and weighs approx. 7 lbs. My hope is that she gets weak and tired so that someone may get to her. She is not agressive, just very frightened. The collar has contact information and she is microchipped. PLEASE if you see her or are able to catch her, please call the contact numbers and me. Thank you for your help. Kay 832.866.0237
