I watched a lone adult COYOTE cross 140 this morning, as I was returning from the Hickory Flat area.  He was leaving the wooded area of the subdivision just before ours (on the right), and crossing into the wooded area of Crabapple Falls, on the backside of our tennis courts.

If you are unfamiliar with what coyotes look like, do an internet search using "north georgia coyote photo".  Be sure your kids know what they look like, so that they don't mistakenly think a coyote skirting the property is a lost dog, and try to leave it food, etc.  Coyotes are known to steal small pets (including cats).
