All, I want to share some disturbing news.  I had two long haired dachshunds and who were very funny and lots of fun.  My doggies got out of my yard late one night while I was asleep.  The next morning I started looking for them and could not locate neither.  On Tuesday, after contacting the Grand Prairie animal shelter on Monday, I went to the animal shelter hoping they were found to be okay.  Instead, I was told they were dead.  I was also told that their death did not reflect as being hit by a car or a dog attack; but, actually killed.  One of them was cut clean in half and both were found together.  This is disturbing to hear as a long time dog owner.  Our pets are precious to us and become part of most families.  I can only say to pet lovers, be careful.
