Has anyone noticed how fast the light at Lennox and DeGaulle changes. It seems to be happening more often lately. You sit on Lennox waiting to cross the large neutral ground to get to the other side of DeGaulle. The light turns green. You go. But, before you even reach the other side the light is yellow, then red. This is RIDICULOUS!

Quick Light on Lennox
Jerry, I, too, have noticed the quick light. If you are the only car, there is virtually no chance to get completely across the intersection. The ''delay'' seems to be a function of how soon a vehicle drives across the induction loop about 3/4's of the way across the General de Gaulle median. Let's call the City's Public Works Department, Traffic Division, Signal Shop (483-2527). If that gets you nowhere, please call their Engineering shop (565-6840). I'll do likewise. Glenn Orgeron |
