mailbox and light color change

Yes to No Way!

''This would just be a hassle, be expensive, be bothersome, and a lot of people wouldn't do it. All it would be is trouble.''

I wholeheartedly agree with you here. This would be similar to the reflective paint dilemma. You know, when it was ''mandated'' that your house numbers be painted on the street in reflective paint. You may see it in front of some houses--just look on the street in front of some houses and you'll eventually see it.

Changing the paint color

No, this money will come out of the homeowner association fees due annually. That is my thought anyway. Why change something that is good in the first place. I happen to like the color it is now. Why change to black??
A vote from all

There should be no changes at all to anything except with a vote from EACH and EVERY homeowner in this community. How can the board just decide something and none of the actual homeowners not have input through a vote. I mean if there are 300 households in the community there would have to be a 300 count vote to decide any decision at all.
Won't Black Fade Too???

I realize that the gray mailboxes, etc. have faded and are not as attractive as before, however...Black will fade over time as well and will not look any better. Seems like an awful lot of work and money spent for the same result.
