I was surprised by the poor turnout for the festival, disappointed that there was little representation from South Louisville. The park should have been filled and the date coinciding was St. James was a bit self defeating. Who is the coordinator for this event? We need to start now to develop next year's plan. Any takers or challengers to step forward to beef up this event ? I could have a yard sale bigger than that.

There was an article in the Courier Journal Wednesday neighborhood section on front page that featured the festival. It named Rita Seum as booth coordinator and Mark Irwin as president of the festival. They got a really good write up. I didn't go to the SL festival because I was at St. James all day. I agree that going up against St. James may have pulled away some people, but I guess there should be options. Anyway, I hope there is community interest in keeping this festival going. Maybe the publicity should be NOW to plan for next year,
