Yesterday I was driving out of the subdivision and saw that to the right of the waterfall (behind the retaining wall) was a discarded tire and other garbage. It makes this subdivision look trashy and un-cared for. Who picks this up? I am tempted to do it myself but think that this is another issue for the developers. Does anyone else have any thoughts on this?

Response from Greenscapes
Behind the water fall is the pump that runs the water fall. A tarp was placed over the pump and PVC pipe to keep from freezing I suppose the tire was used as a weight to hold in place. The developers superintended did this for the related reasons. We pick up the trash on the landscape contract 28 times per year which is the general mowing schedule, however I have had this maintained up and beyond the contract due to the amount of trash build up. We perform litter pick up once to two times extra a week at no fee. Thanks, Cory Rudolph |

Greenscapes 2nd Response
Alan, I noticed the trash or tire that you were talking about. The highway department is supposed to clean up all trash besides the trash that is on the neighborhoods turf out front. There is a tarp behind the fountain which is there to insulate the pump and pipe. When my crew comes on Monday I will have them pick that trash and tire up out on Bardstown Road. this week, although this is the highway departments responsibility.
