I would like the developers to maintain all lots that have not been built on. In the spring the grass will be grown up very tall, there are rodents and snakes on them. I have to tell my child to walk in the street because the sidewalk ends and the lots are dangerous to walk on. When you have a home here you have to maintain your yard. Why don't the builders and the developers? Why not use some of the hoa money to keep up all open spaces!!

lot upkeep
The only way to get the lots taken care of is to call 411 Metro Call. They will fine the association and the builders until it has been taken care of on a daily basis. I tried Hunter Management several times to no avail, as well as Brown Noltemeyer ( which used to be a client of ours).

Open Lots
Thanks for your feedback! I am pulling everyone's concerns and ideas into a proposal to the developers. I will include this. Just let me know of any other issues.

open lot maintenance
There is already a city ordinance that requires grass to be mowed to a height of 6'' or less. If they refuse to cut it, then the city will cut it, and attach a lien to the property. That will get the builders' attention! I'd recommend that you complain to the city. We should not have to pay to cut lots (this would be a lot of money) since we don't own them. The builders that do cut theirs would then stop if they knew the subdivision would pay. While I agree with you in principle, I think the lot owners should pay.
