For those of you who have not read Charlie White's article about the demise of Kenwood Drive-In, I urge you to read it. For the younger generation, Kenwood was the boomers version of tailgating 50's style. Arriving early, finding neighbors, sending the kids to the playground until the movie started, parking with the trunk facing the screen, retrieving the lawn chairs and all the great junk food stored in the vehicle. When all ready the "big screen" counted down minutes to showtime.
