Hello Mayor,

In addition to leaving you a message, I'd like to also here submit an Open Records Request to any and all information Re: the WP Ethics Committee Board's past meetings, decisions, etc. Info dealing how the Committee addresses the standards of conduct, nepotism, protecion against reprisal, meetings, hearings, etc. would be helpful. Also when is the next meeting? I never can find that info on the website. I must not be looking in the correct place? I know MetroLouisville holds them I think the 3rd Thurs. of every month. Are ours on a set schedule like that?

Open Records Request

Yes, I realize Mr. Fryrear is the Ethics Committee Chairman, and that there are 2 others on the board. However, I am again making an Open Records Request for any and all documentation prepared by that board, and as the mayor, aren't you the keeper of said documentation? I was assuming all requests had to go through you. Are you saying you don't have that documentation? I'm confused.

The Ethics Board by design is a separate entity. All Ethics Board documentation and manuals are held by the Ethics Chair. The city clerk has copies of the signed non-compete forms for mayor and the council. Please contact either of them directly for your request. Feel free to return my calls if I can be of more assistance. I appreciate your interest in the Ethics board or other elected city position. The deadline for registering for elections is this Tuesday August 8.
