Where are Restrictions?

Posted in: SANA
We cannot seem to find the Restrictions of Deed that Lisa placed on this website. But we are kind of ''newbies'' using the internet.

Anyway, my husband and I would like to see them. Does anyone know where they are located on this website?

Thanks for any help!

Restrictions and Covenants

Real estate deed restrictions are restrictions on the deed that place limitations on the use of the property. Restrictive covenants are an example of deed restrictions. Deed restrictions are usually initiated by the developers - those who determined what the land would be used for, divided the land into plots, and built homes, office buildings, or retail buildings on it.

The Restrictions of Deed are available to every homeowner through the Clerk's office. Here is the information you will need to obtain a copy:

Please call the Jefferson County Clerk's Office at 502-574-5700 or the Deed Room Customer Service at 502-574-6220

According to my copy titled 'Declaration of Restrictions and Covenants, Sunshine Acres Section 6-A', it is in Book 4463, Pages 81-86.

Hope this is helpful.

Some homes NOT in ''Sec. 6-A''

Sec 6-A covers the lots Mr. Ray McDonald purchased from the first developer, not the entire Sunshine Acres Subdivision.
