We live in one of the houses that backs up to Midland Meadows. In April 2003, we left our car unlocked overnight in the back of our house and we and our next door neighbor both had a purse and a wallet taken from our unlocked cars. Both items were retrieved from the yard under a tree, but the cash had been taken out. We like to think we live in a safe neighborhood, but it is still good to take the proper precausions. You can never be too careful.
