I have used Metro Call (311) several times in the past and have always received help with my problems. For example, through Metro Call a dilapidated alley sign designating it as a fire lane was replaced. Recently I called to request repair of a street light at Mossrose and Windsor Place. I received a tracking number for the repair call and an estimate of about 3 weeks for the repair to be done. And did you know that a call to 311 will bring out a traffic officer to check on illegal parking situations? Try it out next time you need it - it beats just being frustrated about the problem!
