signs

Does anyone else think the green signs look incredibly tacky? Black and white ones are SOOO much classier!! Is it too late to get a refund??

Also, it is very hard to find the Girard entrance at night...the white sign was so easy...now I have to look for the big garage on the right hand side to know where Girard is!

Light problem solved

I'm pleased to tell you that LG&E has agreed to install streetlights at Westport and Girard. I'll be meeting with the company engineer next week to discuss details.

The street signs at the city boundaries are designed to coordinate with the street signs at the intersections all through Graymoor-Devondale.

I'm sorry some ''concerned'' person thinks they are ''incredibly tacky.'' Quite a few people were involved in approving this design, including the Mayor and City Council Members. I think this is simply a matter of personal taste. This is the first (and, I believe, unwarranted) complaint we've received about these new signs. The new signs are a definite improvement over the older, faded wooden signs.
