Our community is characterized by its quiet, tree-lined residential streets; this is why I am disappointed to see cars for sale sitting in a driveway on Girard and a yard on Herr Lane. This commercial look cheapens the charm of our neighborhood and detracts from the value of everyone's property. I do not think this blatant advertising should be allowed especially with big items that turn yards into used car lots!

I've asked the Graymoor-Devondale Police Department to investigate potential violations of our city ordinances regarding signage and parking. Where there are clear violations, they will seek compliance from the residents.
