April 6, Hagan Properties, authorized by Louisville Metro Planning and Design Services, filed a plan to develop the Stallings property across from Ballard High School.

Several residents of Graymoor-Devondale signed a petition in February and March, asking that any Planning Commission hearing on a Stallings proposal be scheduled for evening hours in our area. Petition organizers, collectors and signers were and are motivated by a wish to make it easier for people to participate in any hearing process. Yesterday, Crossgate resident Theresa Stanley was told by Assistant County Attorney Deborah Bilitski that indeed Ballard High School will be the site of a hearing, and the hearing will be scheduled for a weekday evening, date yet to be determined.
