Why are Ordinances being ignored

Ms. Winnette- you asked the author to
come to the meeting. I was there and in
listening to most of the residents state
their opposition to Concrete Block
structures, I have to wonder why anyone bothers to come to the meetings. Boom
boom boxes and speeding continue to be issues protested and nothing done by the police department to stop them and it appeared the voting status of the council members was made up to accept the variance before the meeting was held.

Why are Ordinances being ignored

It seems the lack of enforcement on the ordinances is due to the lack of police presence in our city. I am definately someone that is rarely critical of police departments but I don't understand when the city has heard citizens comments during the meetings over keeping the department, one would think we would see an increase in police presence in the city. Not here.
