I had sent an email to City Councilman about the City walls being all of a sudden in the highway right of way.My inquiry was Why in God's name were these walls built if the highway was going to be widened? I received a nice reply from Councilman John Vezeau.Seems the research was done and the Highway Dept said the walls would not be in the right of way.
My Question now is.If the Kentucky Dept of Transportation gave false information,should they not have to pay for the removal and relocation of these walls? How much consultation was done with the Highway Dept? Is anything in writing from the Dept of Transportation about the walls not being in the right of way?
