The primaries for our Council elections are only a few months away. In our district we have a number of candidates who have filed for the elections, and this site might serve as a sounding board for citizens to discuss which candidate they will choose in May.

Over here, our family is clearly, unequivocally behind George Unseld. We owe him a debt of gratitude for his hard work in serving the West St. Catherine neighborhood; furthermore, he is obviously the most intelligent and visionary of our options.

Any thoughts? Wanna discuss it, debate it, fight about it? Speak up, neighbors, before a bunch of east end Republicans start calling the shots in this city!!

I agree!

I have been here for less than a year, but I agree with you, Michael, about our choice for council. I have met both George Unseld and Greg Handy. Greg is a nice guy, but so is George, and when it comes to the issues George Unseld seems much more aware of what we need in our community.

I have also noticed that George thinks EVERYONE in our area has worthy concerns and something to say--not just the wealthy and influential people!
