Why is Woodlawn park a seperate city from St. Matthews? After living in both St. Matthews and Woodloawn Park, I don't see any benefit to having a seperate government. It probably just ends up costing me more in taxes, though I haven't checked yet. When living in a normal St. Matthews neighborhood, I saw cops patrolling more often than I see our dedicated city watchman - so that can't be the reason. This is a serious question....why do we need to remain seperate? Is there some law preventing us from integrating?
Thanks.
