I suppose "mean-spirited" and "beauty" are akin in the respect that what they are is dependent on the visual acuity of the beholder.  And again, I have found that if I decide what I am going to find before I start looking, it really doesn't take me long to find it.

Unfortunately, our leaders at "higher" levels of government have given us poor models of how to run a political campaign.  Given that, I have learned in my three quarters of a century on this earth that most of us are copy cats.  I have also learned that the best time to put out a fire is when it is burning; or, that sometimes it is better to let a sleeping dog lie.  I have also learned that people do strange things in the heat of battle,

I don't know the original poster of this item, but I know the "write-in candidate" well:  he is my neighbor and friend.  He is NOT a mean-spirited person.  As a result of the campaign, I met four of the posters and found out that they are not mean people at all.   And as an aside, they have since become active in the Bellemeade Neighborhood Watch Program.  I think I know who the kitty katz lady is.   I would also like to meet the original poster of this item and get you involved in the Watch Program too.  You have what we need.

And, by the way, almost immediately after I made those posts last evening, I got three phone calls with the caller ID blocked.  I don't answer blocked number calls.  Unblock your number and call me.

Communication is often difficult because we misunderstand one another and respond too quickly. The response is then misunderstood as well because it was about something different than we think we said. So often we don’t have all the details and assume information that is not correct. This process is exacerbated when we can not see each other face to face and ask the right questions. It is important that we can ask one another, “What do you mean by that?” and elicit an explanation. Done with respect it will enhance our communication.

I believe that my opinions are correct or I wouldn’t hold them.  However I have been known to change my opinion when presented with new facts. In listening to the variety of opinions in our community I can learn and serve the community better. So can we all.

You must live on Woodcleft.  Thank you for your service in the Watch Program.

I am sorry; I just simply don't understand some of your comments.  For example, when you admonished others for grammatical errors and incorrectly spelled words.   Or when you criticized others for what you called "mean-spirited"  posts well after the election.  And, I say none of that maliciously or with any ill will.  I just simply am not following you.  However, I am certainly glad that you chose to add to the discussion board.

By the way, do you know anyone that lives on Whipps Bend?  We need a Block Captain and Alternate there.
