I saw one north bound SUV driver lose control at the hump in front of 112 this morning during the rain. She or he veered over into the southbound side nearly hitting the mailboxes in front of 112 / 114. The faded paint and excessive speed appeared to be the causes. Fortunately, there was no oncoming traffic or there would have been a head-on collision.

They are very dangerous for unsuspecting drivers. My son-in-law who lives in St. Louis complains about not being able to see them until the last second and he has young eyes. Imagine how the old timers like me feel when they hit them. |
