ACT NOW TO RENEW MENA MEMBERSHIP

It is time to renew your membership in MENA. We have placed an envelope for this purpose in this newsletter.

Dues to belong to MENA are certainly modest. At $1.25 per month for a homeowner ?— less for seniors and renters ?— these dues contribute to the work of the work of your neighborhood alliance.

Last year, MENA distributed four quarterly newsletters, created its web site, organized East Sacramento Day, produced the East Sacramento Remodeled Home Tour, held the 2003 Architectural Awards competition, cosponsored the American River Clean Up, and participated in a community Flea Market.

In addition, MENA reviewed and commented on various neighborhood planning and zoning applications and assigned Board Members to stay informed on activities related to the redevelopment project at 65th Street and Folsom Boulevard, planning for McKinley Park, expansion of Mercy General Hospital, planning related to development at the Cannery and the proposed Centrage Project, among others.
