Of the many beautiful houses nominated for recognition, MENA selected three to be the recipients of its first Architectural Awards.

Best New Construction 1371 41st Street
Best Restoration 3701 McKinley Boulevard
Best Renovation/ Addition 555 37th Street

MENA is very proud to be recognizing these homeowners at its East Sacramento Day on April 6.
It is also very proud of the plaque that will commemorate this award.

Bronze, 4?” by 6?”, this cast plaque (shown center, above) reads: ?“McKinley Elvas Neighborhood Alliance Architectural Award 2002?”.
MENA intends to continue this competition each year, receiving nominations from the community and selecting among them to receive this award.
Perhaps you know someone whose rebuild or remodel in East Sac is particularly noteworthy. Let us know.

Whether a remodel, new construction, or serious renovation, MENA is looking for projects that make strong positive statements about our wonderful neighborhood

Soon after April 6, these three homes will be displaying our new award. We look forward to the awards in 2003, 2004 ?…..
