The meeting was called to order at 7 PM and President Kay Tawney welcomed all in attendance.

Membership Reminder
Dues are $20 / year / household and cover January – December. Our membership dues pay for our expenses such as events, PO Box, postage, supplies, and rentals. New team office for the Westley Division. 2500 Block of West Blvd. Grand Opening will be 14th of April.

Lt. Cavanas is now covering all three response areas.

• Madison Park Runner’s Group is meeting on Tuesday nights @ 6:30 in the Pinewood school parking lot. They run 3-ish miles. Newcomers welcome
• New Parents Walk Group –Wednesdays at 8:30 am
• Tree Charlotte, End of Season, tree giveaway on Saturday, March 19 from 9:00—11:00 at the City of Charlotte Landscape Management Facility / 701 Tuckaseegee Rd.
• The Madison Park Book Club is reading The Orphan Train by Christina Baker Kline. They will meet March 22 at 6:30 pm at Sir Edmund Halley’s, Park Shopping Center. For more info, contact Gay Hurst at gay.hurst@gmail.com
• Margaret will be looking into installing a Butterfly Garden at Pinewood Elementary. If you are interested and would like to assist with this effort, please email Margaret at Margaret.b.xexton@wellsfargo.com
