Mahncke Park Neighborhood

I received a notice today about MPNA Board voted to oppose the project? Can this be correct? There are so many other issue that the MPNA Board needs to be concerned about such as the way MP is getting runned down. What has MPNA done to clean up the streets like Eleanor? There are lots of apartment complex on Eleanor that needs MPNA Board to review and get with the owners to clean up.
I would definite like to have this high rise apartment rather that the run down apartment building, like the one on Eleanor.
Is this the opinion of the people who live in MP or just the Board?
Because of other committments I cannot attend but would love to hear the excuses of the MPNA Board.

Always a complaint but no one want to do anything, just complain.

High Rise

Hello Mr. Chin,

If I'm not mistaken MPNA opposes the new high rise only as the current design exists. It seems that some changes of the design may also change the minds of those who are on the board. I'm assuming that the issues of height as well as how the new properties layout conforms to the MP neighborhood master plan. As far as Eleanor is concerned, there are periodic clean-ups within the neighborhood aside from the ''city brush pick up'' that cleans out brush and trash.
