The mission of the Maize Morse Tri-Area Civic Association is to maintain a high quality of life in the community through partnerships with residents, businesses, and local governmental agencies for the purpose of resolving issues of mutual concern.
MMTACA is supported solely through the efforts of its volunteers. Every resident is encouraged to get involved and be active because we are only as strong as our members. There are many opportunities for involvement: assisting with community activities, distributing the newsletter, participating in monthly board meetings, and serving as an officer or neighborhood representative.
If we each do a little, we will accomplish a lot. We have a task which can accommodate your schedule. Please give us a call. Your involvement enriches the total community.
MMTACA has a very effective marketing tool, The Community News, which is published approximately every quarter and has a circulation of 750. Articles include information about local neighborhood activities, block watch initiatives, local meetings, upcoming events, local membership drives and current issues of concern to the community.
The Community News is also an excellent way for local businesses to advertise their goods and services. The advertisement fee is viewed as a donation which defrays publication expenses. The 2009 rates are:
$20 business card
$25 1/4 page
$50 - 1/2 page
$100 full page

The Maize Morse Tri-Area Civic Association welcomes you to our neighborhood. If you live in Maize Meadows, Baby Farms or Moors and Dales, you are a resident of one of the greatest communities in Columbus.
Founded by local residents in the late 1970’s, the mission of MMTACA is to preserve the quality of life in the area by serving as the collective voice of all residents. MMTACA keeps lines of communication open and fosters an equal partnership with area businesses and local government agencies in resolving issues of mutual concern.
Through our regular newsletters and website, MMTACA keeps residents and local businesses informed about issues. We coordinate and publicize fun-filled family activities and neighborhood events. We maintain a community calendar, organize Block Watch programs and conduct many other activities which make the neighborhood a great place to live.
You are encouraged to be a part of the activities by becoming a member of MMTACA. We also hope you find this handbook useful and informative. If you have any suggestions or recommendations, please forward them to the MMTACA Board.
We hope that your home and our neighborhood bring you great joy and much happiness.
MMTACA is proud of our accomplishments. Some issues have been addressed without the need for total neighborhood involvement. Other issues were resolved because area residents got involved and offered their support.
