Is it ever going to be possible to have a above ground pool.  It is ridiculas to have to get a second mortgage to have a pool when above ground pools is more economical.

And all you see when you drive in to the neighborhood is above ground pools plus, when you drive through to get to Mansions Farms all you see is the construction site with trucks and concrete sewer tunnels.

We we see all this why are we worried about the way someone's back yard looks like. (REALLY)

I mean I can understand about boats and campers but it's almost like living in Stepford for God sake because you can not even have a trampoline.

I bring this issue up to the board for the deed reviews in October's meething.  Then if it becomes an item to vote on, then it wil be at the annual meeting in February 2017.

Per the Mansion Farm Declaration of Covenants and Restrictions: Article 1, section 10: Swimming Pools. "No above-ground swimming pools shall be constructed or maintained on any lot, except that children's swing pools not exceeding two (2') feet in height shall be permitted." Your referral to the above ground pools seen as you drive into the neighborhood are located in Caravelle not Mansion Farm. The construction area is property owned by Robert Peoples. If and when it is developed it will be called The Woods at Mansion Farm but, will not be a part of Mansion Farm proper. The Deed Restrictions were established to maintain the integrity and aesthetics of the community. Everyone who purchased property in Mansion Farm (a Deed Restricted Community) agreed to abide by the Deed Restrictions at the closing on their property. In ground pools may be more expensive as are the high quality homes located in our community. In ground pools add to the value of a property unlike above ground pools that can actually lower the value.

This is a pompous and arrogant response!  I have a single family residence in the final phase of the development and here is what I feel lowers the value of my property:

1. The town homes - impact comps on resales

2. The small homes in the first phase - impact comps on resales

3. The homes that are green as they have not been pressured washed since the day they were built - neighborhood appearance

4. Lawns that are more weeds than grass and not maintained - neighborhood appearance

5. The ridiculous deed restrictions of this community that where never disclosed to several of us that purchased homes in Mansion Farms. - scares buyers away

Above ground pools - give me a break!
