Mailbox maintenance has been addressed previously and it is basically up to the homeowners to provide and maintain their own mailbox and specifications were delivered with a MCA newsletter. Yearly we tend to have repeat questions that don't our dues cover mailboxes and multiple residents wish the association could address the security aspect of our mail due to fraud/identity theft.
Here is a far-fetched idea but with positive interest it may be worth checking into: What if the undeveloped property owned by the city's park dept @ 7011 Sheldon Dr could be converted into a communal mail delivery location? Quite possibly it could be utilitized by 353 residents of Maplewood Park and 87 residents of Cambrige Oaks.
