Has anyone received any technical information about Cable America's internet service?
I've been calling them for a few weeks, but I haven't gotten any info. Are they set up for internet service yet?

Phone numbers and info
Stan,
As Renee' said in the previous message -- YES, they are set up. I called Cable America at 480-558-7260 and they are offering Marlborough Mesa residents a package for 6 months at $9.95 per month. Regular prices would apply after that which are cheaper than what Cox offers (more stations -- better pictures). (This price does not include the internet.)
The Internet Department at 480-558-7325 offers: 512k and 3.2mb from $29.95 to $49.95, depending on what choices you make in programming.
I know Suzanne Weaver has subscribed to most everything they offer. She is pleased and was the most instrumental person in getting Cable America to come ''this far south.'' Her email is scweaver@primenet.com and I am sure she would be happy to answer any questions you may have about their services.
One last thing, Stan -- I don't have your email address. Would you like me to put you into the Neighborhood Email Group? We have well over half of our neighborhood online now. I protect your email address and I don't send unnecessary messages -- only those pertaining to the neighborhood. When I do send a message it is sent BCC. The last 2 that were sent out was on all the neighborhood car break-ins and thefts (which I do believe now the ''crooks have been caught!'') and the Marlborough Toy Drive (for the Child Crisis Center) reminder, which takes place in the Park December 16th from 1:00-3:00 pm. Let me hear from you.

Got it. Thanks!
Thanks Alma. I called Renee, and she put me in contact with Cable America's techie guy who gave me all the info. I'm going to try their internet service.
Hey, this board is great.
Alma and Renee, thanks again.
(Now if I could just figure out how to make that diacritical mark after Renee's name ...)
