Marlborough Mesa

Noticed all of our new streetlights yet?  They were completed in our neighborhood just last week.  They are part of the stimulus package from the federal government and are part of the "going green" steps.  They use much less power and consequently will save the City money.

The City began installing the lights at the west end of Mesa and they can go all the way to Stapley on the current money available (with the exception of Dobson Ranch which has a different kind of light post).  There are a total of 2500 lights to be installed.

Yep, really lights up the street and the house... glad it saves money and should cut down on anyone trying to snoop around.

they light up my living room and bedroom too! 

I think they could have found a much better use for 1 Million dollars.

The LED lights provide a flat cold light compared to the incandescent lights. They wash out colors and reduce depth perception.

I prefer the warm glow that our neighborhood had over the harsh white light it has now.

Just my opinion, of course.
