We are having another protest against Scott Graham the Cat Killer on the corner of Alma School and Pecos this Saturday 10/6/2012 from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm.  Please come and join us to show support for our lost cats in the neighborhood.

Keep your cats indoors if you want them to be safe.  In most cities the leash law pertaines to cats, too.  Only lazy feline owners let their cats roam freely outside at night and destroy our bird population.  Stop whining and keep your cats inside!

There is absolutely no leash law pertaining to cats for the city of Mesa, Phoenix, or Avondale. It is legal and in no way "lazy" to allow your cat to roam around outside. As long as you do the responsible thing and have your cats spayed and neutered, and your not partaking in any kind of animal cruelty or neglect, there is nothing legally or morally wrong with it. I do not see many cats roaming around the neighborhood. I dont see the cat population in any way out of control, or potentially. The cats i see roaming around all seem to be friendly and domestic, not feral. I dont see them causing any kind of problems. Im sorry that you have an issue with them.
