One of the community pages states that Brickman will be taking care of the white PVC pipes time permitting. So, am I correct when I conclude they're not important? (I assumed they weren't important, but part of me always wondered what the purpose was.) The one near my home was mowed over two summers ago and I kept the broken piece just in case. Last summer, it must have happened to one of my neighbor's because an extra broken PVC pipe ended up in my bushes. (Granted, that was Groundmasters and not Brickman...)
However, I also found it funny (funny because it happened once...if it happens again, I'll probably start to squeak officially to Amity because it is truly carelessness) how the day after they fertilized, they mowed. And it took three houses for the mower to realize there were these black metal sticks with white signs in the lawn. They mowed over mine and both of my next door neighbors scattering the torn pieces of paper everywhere! I still giggle about it to this day...(maybe because I picture Homer Simpson doing it over and over again and sayign D'oh each time).
