Mayfair Neighbors, Inc.

Is it just me or is Mayfair undergoing some type of change. I have lived in Mayfair for 10 + years now and in the last six months I have seen more and more scrape offs and pop tops in the neighborhood. I understand that teh economy in Denver is one of the best in the nation however hate to see the character of homes in our neighborhood change with scrape offs and pop tops that are do not match the architecture of the home or neighborhood.

Does anyone else in Mayfair feel the same way? Is Mayfair the next community to turn into "Cherry Creek North" or Washington Park.

I guess my question is what are our rights when it comes to this type of activity?

Message to Denver

While I did not attend the Spring General meeting, in hind sight I should of, I did read the message to Denver page on this site. I feel helpless in the plight of trying to stop what will inevitably be a reshaping of this neighborhood. Its a shame and I apologize for not supporting the meeting given that only a few attended. It sounded like you had a good panel of speakers and unfortunately we did not sieze the opportunity to send a message to Denver about this activity.
