Mayfair in Tampa Palms

Dog poop in our yards!

Posted in: Mayfair in Tampa Palms
I am really tired of people letting their dogs poop in other people's yards and not cleaning it up. On a daily basis, I see people walk their dog and look away as their dog poops in someones yard and then just walk off like nothing happened and leaving the poop there.

Mayfair is supposed to be a nice neighborhood where people respect their homes. What I did not know when I moved was that they don't care about their neighbor's yards. This is me fed up so much that I'm looking to move!

Yesterday, a dog pooped 3 times in my yard and all in the same 3 ft x 3 ft area of my yard. It's nasty and I'm truly fed up with it! I don't see why Mayfair can't put out a letter, put up some signs or even go door to door reminding people that if you have dog you need to clean up after yourself. My kids can't play in my yard b/c I fear they will step or fall into dog poop. I know I'm not the only one who fells this way. BTW, I don't even own a dog but think I should to balance out the poop in the neighborhood!

This is ridiculous.

'' Doggie Bags ''

It's always a problem in any neighborhood! There will always be those neighbors who ?“forget?” to pick up after their dog. It's not Fido?’s fault after all, his master told him to do it. See all those weeks of paper training and housebreaking did work!! But what happens when Fido is not properly supervised? I'll tell you what happens-Very Angry Neighbors. One of the biggest complaints in any subdivision is, ''why can't people picked up after their dogs?'' There is a very good way to alleviate this problem-- Doggie Bags. Nooo not the leftovers Doggie Bag you take home to Fido BUT the ?“Doggie Bags?” you use to pick-up the Fido leftovers in the yards. Next time you're out shopping pick up a box of ?“Doggie Bags?”. From pet stores to dollar stores you'll find them. I purchased 100 bags for a buck at the dollar store. Never mind that they were supposed to be for dirty diapers. ( HEY-I have big dogs) Once you start to use ''Doggie Bags'' your neighbors and Fido will thank you.
