I am truly angry at the lady who walked into my yard and posted the trash can rules to my trash can. I watched out my window as she walked into MY yard causing my dog to bark causing my baby to go crazy. I feel that you should know that people use there trash cans for other things. Such as my trash can was at the side of my house because I was weeding my flower bed earlier and had to tend to my son so the trash can didn't make it into my back yard. Not but 45 min after I had to come inside is this lady tramping through my yard. Its one thing for a trash can to be tagged when it is on the street but if you people come into my yard again there will be problems. I don't appreciate that you feel that I am stupid and don't know the neighborhood rules. Some of us do care about our yard and how it looks and any idiot can see from the work we have done on our flower bed that we are one of those people. I sure hope my HOA dues aren't going to the wasted paper to which you posted on my trash can. And people do travel for work on weekdays and can't get to there trash to make the midnight curfew. Focus on the people who are constantly doing these things and not on people who just happened to have had there trash can in your eye sight at that moment. I assure you if this goes on you will have angry homeowners fighting to end this. Oh and no I don't want to be a part of your commitee....I want nothing more than to move out of this place. But our properties values are so low in this neighborhood I would lose money to move....and I can assure you its not because of a trash can being left out past midnight!!!!!
Get over it !!

Ok, we get the picture, you are not a constant violator. However, several of neighbors are. Instead of becoming angry, be thankful that the HOA is doing their jobs by enforcing the rules. If moving is what you feel is best, Best Wishes in your future neighborhood. Because regardless to what you may feel or think, the problems we have here at McIntyre, can and will follow you to your new home! Thank You HOA!
She's Right! HOA Focus is OFF

HOA focus needs to be on real problems. Speeding on Bayview is unreal...people going 50-60 mph, groups of nasties roaming the neighboorhood and frequenting the pool where they are left alone to do as they wish.

You're sadly mistaken if you think the HOA is doing any good by posting trash cans. Get real.
guilty until proven innocent

This HOA apparently is judge jury and executioner.

We were away for a week due to a death in the family on top of my father being ill. We don't hire landscapers, so no, the lawn wasn't cut for a week and yes, it grew.

We came back and the NEXT DAY the other half cut and edged our lawn. A FULL WEEK LATER we received a nastygram in the mail saying our lawn wasn't up to HOA standards, and if we didn't rectify the problem we would be fined.

This was the 1st time since we moved in that we had not attended to the lawn in a timely matter. By the time the letter was written (A WEEK TO THE DAY AFTER WE RETURNED HOME) the situation had already been fixed.

I personally would prefer the HOA pay attention to the neigborhood issues such as obnoxiously loud radios thumping their bass at all hours of the night, people walking thru yards without caring about the hour, and solicitors ringing bells over and over and over again because they think someone is home. Attention to cars being parked on corners that make it DANGEROUS to turn a corner because line of site is completely obstructed seems to me to be a bigger issue than a trash can in the wrong place for 45 minutes, or a lawn not being cut while the owner is out of town for a family emergency. I'm thankful the HOA in the development we are moving to once our house is completed understands priorities and that nothing is textbook perfect, that rules need to be enforced with a grain of humanity and compassion, and appreciates that the HOA is there for the homeowners protection not abuse.
