McIntyre Matters

Has anyone noticed all the Charlotte Police vehicles patrolling our neighborhood?  Additionally, I have seen some unmarked patrol vehicles labeled "..... security" (dark blue colored vehicles).  Is this part of the new security measures?  I know there is a meeting to discuss the implementation of these new measures scheduled for 5/2/2009, but can someone provide a brief updated version of the new measures?

Yes, you are right.  The Board has now contracted the help of Metro Special Police and Security for McIntyre.  They are trained and experienced just like CMPD for all types of situations.  CMPD has also been giving us more random patrols as well as catching speeders.  Spread the word.  More info will be provided at the Meeting on May 2nd.

Thanks for the update.  Plus, I want to thank the entire HOA Board to taking a proactive approach to deal with the issues at McIntyre.  Fellow neighbors on Chalkstone Road greatly appreciate your hard work!!!!!!

 That is excellent news, of all the things we could have done this is one that is definately a step in the right direction. My husband and I have noticed the increase in police presence in the community and it does make us feel better to see this. I thank to board for all there hard work and I wil definately strive to be more of an active community member this year.
