McIntyre Matters

Fellow Residents Of McIntyre,  Let me 1st say that this is really an announcement  not a discussion. For the past several years I have worn whatever hats were needed to make McIntyre go. It started with 1st just becoming an INVOLVED member in the community and that took me to being the President of the HOA for the past couple of years. Whatever has been asked of me by my community I have tried to do so and do it in a positive manner. I hope for the most part that results were acceptable to you all. However as the saying goes "all good things must come to an end". I gave my resignation to the Board in a meeting we had last Tuesday night. My life has taken some extreme turns over the past few months. The energy needed for me to be an effective leader for this community is gone and I need to focus my remaining energies on myself. Change is not always an easy thing and when one is confronted by numerous changes all at once it is difficult. It has been an honor to have been your HOA President. I urge you to be supportive of your current Board and please try and become more involved with your community. It is very hard to accomplish "change" without community support.I promised myself that I was not going to write a book here, so I again say THANK YOU all who have given me the support, your respect and above all your friendship.      BJ Jones

Thank you for your four years of service as HOA president.  I was at the annual meeting in July 2005 when you got elected and it's amazing how fast the time has gone by.  Best of luck with your future ambitions.
