A simple yes or no would do. lol......Im assuming this is the group since I didnt get a straight answer. If forcing someone who owns a private business....to not have Saturday entertainment is this groups idea of "improving our neighborhood", then I cant support you with this issue. Other issues yes, but prying your nose into private matters I will not support. The government does enough of that already.

I believe the issue was related to loud music after midnight, loud crowds, people peeing on lawns, trash thrown on lawns, etc.

Given that The Perky is right in the middle of houses, I believe that some neighbors spoke with the owners of The Perky, and the owners agreed to change their entertainment schedule.  We appreciate the owners of The Perky working with the community.

Not sure about the "government involvement in private matters" angle...  This was all about private citizens working together for the betterment of the neighborhood.  That should be a libertarian ideal...

Hello,

Well I can tell u honestly, living here for about 40 years I have never heard any disturbance coming from the Perk. Heck, the Perk has been here longer then I have. The Perk has been a good neighbor as far as I'm concerned. I've had more of a problem with loud noise coming from neighbors then the Perk.  How bout people who have dogs that wont stop barking and there owners letting them do so, Am I gonna ask for them to be removed, no. I might not like it but its their dog. Its not my business so i stay out.

Has far as the government reference, the point I'm trying to make is, the govt intrudes enough into private matters.......we dont need private citizens intruding in other citizens private affairs just because we dont like it. A neighborhood is made up of all kinds of different people with all kinds of different likes and dislikes. Just because you, me or whoever doesn't like something doesn't give us the right to poke our noses where they dont belong. I say, if you want it your way, may I suggest to buy a 100 acres somewhere in the middle of nowhere and live in the middle of it. Then we wouldn't have to worry bout other people bother us.

Cheers

The issue involved more than just noise - it involved trash, urination, etc. on other people's yards.  Wouldn't you agree that private property wasn't being respected in this case?

Not everyone can afford a 100 acre wood...
