Does anyone have any idea on who to contact in the city to have some speedbumps installed like the ones up around the Spottswood-St. Nick area close to Target? Hopewell has several children that like to ride bikes and such and it seems from Quince to Helene they like to see just how fast their car(s) will go..

Speed Bumps
We would not need ''speed bumps'' on our streets if there were not so many cars and trucks parked on the curb blocking your view of the sidewalks. I worry every morning if I am going to broadside someone backing out of their driveway or run over a small child playing in between parked vehicles on the street. It is a safety issue. Speed Bumps
I must say that I agree with this!! I have written and called Memphis City Code Enforcement and gotten the run around til I am blue in the face. I have called the police dept and told unless they are ''abandoned'' they can't do anything about it. I am soooooooooo sick and tired of seeing that orange/red truck with the tarp hanging out that I could just scream. BTW are they continuing to run the house off of a generator?? By Lisa H |
