I agree with Eddie on a few points.
I just moved from Summer and Highland to this area. I dont want to see this area go down like that area has done.
Single dwelling homes should not be used to house multiple families.
White, Black, Hispanic or Asian it does not matter.

Bad Landlords

I have been a property manager for over 10 years. As a property manager we have to follow HUD standards which are 2 heartbeats per bedroom. There is an exception for infants and children under 18. Also HUD takes into consideration the size of the bedrooms and the size of the dwelling. So for instance if the house is a small 3 bedroom without a den and there are 10 people living there and there are more than 2 adults and 4 children under the age of 18, then you might be able to have some recourse against the homeowner or landlord. If there is a property manager or agent overseeing the property I would contact them first. If not give the homeowner a call and see if they are aware of the situation. If they are parking cars in the yard I would call the city of Memphis.
