A couple of young white males are attempting to steal street signs in the Perkins and Sea Isle area. The car is a 2002-2004 Tan Chevy Malibu- Fayette County Tags # 636 GZL. Police have been notified. Though this doesn't seem like a major issue, street sign theft can cause auto accidents and delay repsonse of emergency vehicles. ( if they can't locate your street) .

Thieves

Well, of course this morning the sign is gone. The tag numbers do not come back to the tan chevy malibu. A further description of the male who stole the sign is: 5'10-5-11 inches tall, about 190-200 lbs, chubby, white, medium brown curly hair, some acne, and is about 18-20 years old. I did not see the driver.

Since the tags were also switched on the car, it is safe to assume these 2 may be responsible for the rash of car break -ins and home burglaries in the area. If anyone sees this car and a young ''man'' of this description in the neighbor hood, please call the police immediately. They are only in our neighborhood to steal.
