Rentals in the area

Is there a city code for maximum occupancy for a house ?? A rental house on my street started out with one couple, now there are 10 people living over there and at least 6 vehicles parked in the yard or street.

Are you speaking of the white house on Hopewell Road? If not, we are having the same problem. I would guess that there are about 4-6 families that live in this one house. They have anywhere from 6-8 vehicles parked in the drive, on the street and sometimes in the yard. They do not bother anyone, however, this is very unsightly to look at while you are trying to keep your yard and home nice. Plus just having to back in and out of your driveway. Also, if you live next door and are having a cookout or some sort of get together, your company has to park further down the street.

Rental's

I don't think there is a city code.. but i would imagine the owner would like to hear about it. Try and find out who the rental property belongs to and inform them. I did that a few years ago in flamingo cove and a few weeks later the house was cleared.. renovated and had a new family in it.

So depending on your desire to rid the population at that address.

I have to agree with Matthew. Go to WWW.ASSESSOR.SHELBY.TN.US and put in the address and you can see who owns that house. Contact the owner and bring it to their attention. As homeowners in the area we have to keep up with the area rental properties to keep our own property values where they belong.
