I want to thank everyone who has helped with fixing up the park. I want to thank the people who seed as well as the great citizen who acquired all the mulch for us. The park is really shaping up. A little more mulch, getting rid of a dead tree, and then
planning the for the future. I am looking for input in terms of bulbs, perennials, bushes, other things people might enjoy. Keep in mind that the county does not do any maintenance except for cutting grass. Think in terms of low or no maintenance. And disease resistant. (In the fall I have some iris's that I may move over). I have a disc for the computer which has a planning feature on it. I will look at that soon. Please take a walk to the park, sit in it, walk through it. (pick up a weed or two if you feel like it) Enjoy it. Show people who we are and that we care.

I think you deserve a big THANK YOU for all your efforts and caring. It is an inspiration to all who live in this neighborhood.

I don't usually go down and sit in the park, but you know what.. I'm going to now. And you can know that what you've done (and others) is part of the reason.

I know you have a busy schedule with your career but you still find time to try and improve the neighborhood.

We really appreciate what you have done and what you are trying to accomplish at the Park.

Some of our neighbors may have bulbs from their yards they would like to donate, this could be one way to have a ''family heirloom'' in the Park for years to come.

How about an area for a Childrens Butterfly Garden with plants that attract butterflys?

It might be fun to get a group of interested parties together at the Park and talk about what might be done in the future...
