Merritt Park Neighbors
Yesterday, 11/16/09 at about 10:35 a.m., our home at 2215 Sue Ave. was burglarized. They got our LCD TV, a Wii, my daughter's SLR camera, an electric guitar and some heritage jewelry. Bob Smith's surveillance camera showed a compact hatchback cobalt blue car drive up the street, go out of view, come back down the street and right up our driveway. There were two what appeared to be smallish individuals in the car. No one was home - they broke the bathroom window with our own crowbar from the garage and exited thru the back door less than 20 minutes later. We are hopeful that we can obtain the license number from the recording.
The Sheriff recommends a security system and to be sure all doors are dead bolted.
