Just curious though, why do you feel that we, as a community, should pay MORE MONEY to print out a mailing and then mail it (which obviously isn't cheap) to send to the entire subdivision when obviously there aren't enough people who care one way or another to even attend a meeting?  If people cared SO much about the management company, what was being done, where the money was going, who the new company was, why rates were going up, and everything else, I would assume that they would attend a meeting in order to find out, ask questions, etc.  By them doing that the HOA could save a lot of money in mailing out a mailer that will more than likely be thrown in the garbage anyway.  Yes, there are a handful of people who care, I'd figure most of them are on this message board or subscribe to the blockwatch newsletter and that sort of thing because they DO care, unfortunately there are many more that don't give a rip than who do.  I for one would rather keep rates down by not mailing out an explanation and simply have people show up to the meetings...which is FREE.

If they don't know when the meeting is how can they come. Most of the time I find out about the meetings on this Neighborhood link cause I didn't get a notice or it came a day late.

As for the rate increase people were upset about the sewer company wanting a 20.86% increase which they informed us about. The HOA increase is 20.5% and doesn't smell much better.

I bet we get some answers at the next meeting what do you think????? unless they cancel before it begans again.( Like Dec. meeting)...

Now to answer the question I will get from some AND YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE!!!! yes I know there was not enough people that showed up. But heck I didn't even get my foot on the sidewalk and people were walking out saying the meeting was cancel, so the ones that were just ouside the building or just getting there left.

 So I hope the next meeting you will wait till the people that are outside can come into the building before you  cancel it....
