They reported on Lincoln Park, MI quandry as to the application of recently FIRED City Mgr from Sterling Heights Steve Duchane. Duchane recently dismissed as a Defendant in the Hillside Promotions fiasco in Sterling Heights which will cost that Cities insurance company 200 million, from his outright falsification of records, and interferrence with the Freedom Hill Music Park developers, on Contractual and Tortious interference
in the operation of a popular music venue.

Wyandotte like Lincoln Park, and other small communities, allows its City Dept heads to manage, to budget, and to measure their own depts reporting as well to a part time council and a part time Mayor.

Motion Approved...please attach the Roll is getting to be ad nauseum at City Hall were City business is more often than not rubber stamped approved with little or no debate.

The opportunity to rig bids, structure kick backs, and favoritism is eveident in many proposals that pass before City Council. Attach the Roll is a cry that should send a shiver down your spine on Monday nights as the rubber stamp gets applied to almost everything...doesn't seem to make sense...to almost everything?

A professionalCity Manager form should be high on the Citizens agenda if not on our current council.

Wyandotte poised for economic development will not be successful in attracting larger businesses who like to see things well orgnized and professionally managed. There has been bno, and there is not likely to be any significant new investment from outside into wyandotte especially in the manufacturing or service business arena in part due to the archaic structure of city local government.

Wyandotte would be well advised to revise its charter to a professional city manager form, and with the proviso that Steve Duschane a confirmed liar, and decit need not apply here.

Lincoln Park would do well to consider the lessons learned by Sterling Heights and simply say No Thank You Steve.. please just move on.

I'm glad you posted all that you did. Most of us on this list are too stupid to read and decide for ourselves, that's why we continually look to you for direction.

As far a I can tell the City of Wyandotte is run like most large companies in the USA.

Department heads make the day to day decisions involved in running their departments. These are good, hard working and honest people.

Will anyone ever abuse their position? Maybe, but one bad experience doesn't spoil the whole crew. By and large our city is run very well.

Perhaps you could run for elected office. Carping on the side lines like a few parents do at a little league game is no way to support OUR hometown.

Please don't tell him about the elections coming up. Such a talented person like him self should show him self to the cameras on Monday night. I personally think the Council should place a bike rack in front for the section of person or persons that might show up. If there isn't to many there the guard would let someone park inside to keep an eye on it. I've taken mine there. Maybe someone would like to ask the council to make him or her the Manager!! If it don't work there go to Lincoln Park and ask them too!

I am entertained by your posts and don't have a problem with you being rough on some of the self-anointed Wyandotte Elite. I am curoius though where are they? Explain this lawsuit issue? No posts from RP or Richmill fill us in on their sudden disappearence from this site.
