This week The News Herald and then tonight News 4 reported on a very disturbing and huge problem.....men using the internet to prey on our little girls.

There is even a website, www.perverted-justice.com , dedicated to exposing these men. This is a site where adults pose as teenage girls 13 &14 years old. They are online in websites along with hundreds of other teenage girls. Grown men in our community from all professions are chatting with what they think are these young girls. The conversations always turn to sex and eventually the grown men are making arrangements to meet and have sex with what they believe to be a 13 year old girl.

You can check the website out and see who these men are, where they are from and the very sexual conversations they are having with our children.

Once you get to the website you can click on the archives in the upper left hand corner, then click on by location, then michigan. You will see a listing of these disgusting predators who are from our area. There happens to be an individual name Brian who lives here in Wyandotte.

News4 set up their own sting. They even had these pigs show up to local houses thinking they were coming to have sex with a little girl only to be greeting by the news crew....GREAT JOB NEWS 4!!!!

These stings have exposed dozens of these pigs. But there are far more out there that haven't been exposed and are preying on our children.

This is an issue we as adults need to put a stop to.

I read that the people busting these sickos are vounteers. Some would say they are being set up--I personally don't care! If we can save ONE child from these monsters it's worth it to me.

I couldn't agree with you more. These perverts are the lowest forms of life. I can't even watch these stories on the news because they make me sick. They seem to be breeding because there are more and more all the time. I would love to see them all wiped off the planet, but how? How do we stop them?

It is a problem, there's also a growing problem with older women seducing young boys - just as perverted in my opinion.

I wish there was a simple answer to this, but I know there isn't. If it were my child, I might consider violence over court.

About perverted-justice.com. There are real problems over there, at lease 20 of the people ''outed'' have ended up being innocent, it turns out that some of the ''outings'' are simply vendettas over some unrelated incident.

Like anything else on the internet, don't believe everything you read. Just because some dork writes it, it doesn't make it true.

Look for a multi-million dollar slander suit in the next few months because of the untrue ''outings''.

The internet makes it really easy to destroy someone's reputation.
